Tennessee Brew Works – The Gulch
For dog lovers who also love craft beer, you can’t beat the dog-friendly patio at Nashville’s Tennessee Brew Works. While you have several beers to choose from in many unique styles, Tennessee Brew Works also serves elevated bar food. Their patio is covered, making this brewery a great spot even when the weather isn’t perfect. There are happy hour specials Monday through Friday, too — perfect for working from home!
Fat Bottom Brewing – The Nations West Nashville
A full dinner menu, beers made in-house, and a huge dog-friendly patio makes this Nashville spot a perfect bet. Adjacent to the brewery itself is the Hop Yard, an outdoor beer garden with plenty of space for you and your dog. The flagship and seasonal beers are sure to kick your taste buds into high gear, but if you get hungry, don’t forget their kitchen! They feature burgers (like the often talked about Impossible Burger) and sandwiches to satisfy your hunger.
Diskin Cider – Wedgewood-Houston Neighborhood
Not sure if Diskin Cider is dog-friendly? As they say, Is the sky blue? Serving up delicious Cider and lot's of other amazing food and drinks, Diskin also has one of the coolest patios in town!
East Nashville Beer Works – East Nashville
If your must haves include great beer, great pizza, and a grace space - East Nashville Beer Works may just be your favorite spot. The only thing that may be better than the beer at East Nashville Beer Works is the service. An all-around great spot to spend an evening.
TennFold Brewing - Donelson
Beer and pizza - does it get any better? It almost feels unfair that Nashville has so many amazing spots to grab a cold beer and some great food. TennFold Brewing may be at the top of the list though! Be sure to get an order of Cauliflower Wings if you are here. To top it all off? An awesome patio for your pup!
TailGate Brewery - Music Row and West Nashville
The outside tables at TailGate Brewery make for a great example of a dog-friendly patio. Nashville locations Music Row and West Nashville both have outdoor spaces where you can bring your dog. In fact, the Music Row location is now known for being the first Craft Cidery in the city! There is a third location of TailGate Brewery in East Nashville, but they do not have a large outdoor space available to accommodate your canine friends. But visit the other spots for beer and pizza, and your dogs can tag along!
Yazoo Brewing Company - Madison
If you’re sensing a theme, you’re probably right. So many of the dog-friendly patios in Nashville are attached to the city’s booming craft beer scene. Yazoo Brewing Company is no exception. They have their house-made brews on tap, including seasonal specials. Snacks are available, and food trucks are often parked on-site ready to feed the hungry crowds. Technically located in Madison, you can find Yazoo’s taproom just outside of Nashville proper. The brewery has been there since 2003, one of the originals in the area. And it’s the perfect spot to chill with your pups outside.
Hops & Crafts – The Gulch
A more expansive beer bar and pub-food menu are available at Hops & Crafts located in the neighborhood known as The Gulch. They have something for everyone with over 30 local beers on tap and a deck patio that welcomes your pups! With specials every day of the week, food like pretzels, chips, salsa, and Coco’s pizza, it’s a nice place to spend a pleasant afternoon or evening with your pooch on the porch.

Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint is an awesome place to get, well... beer and burgers! They also have a dog-friendly patio in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood. As a dog-friendly restaurant, they have six tables for you and your pup in their backyard. They’re open every day from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m and serve their full menu until close. And don’t forget the wide selection of beers they have on tap!
M.L. Rose – Multiple Locations
With three dog-friendly locations throughout the city (and a fourth in My. Juliet), M.L. Rose is known for craft beer and excellent burgers! All four locations are dog-friendly on their outside patios. Our suggestion - be sure to order the Loaded Waffle Fries!
Bringle's Smoking Oasis - West Nashville
If you are looking for some incredible BBQ and an incredible atmosphere, Bringle's Smoking Oasis is your spot! Sister restaurant to Peg Leg Porker, Bringle's has an awesome patio with corn hold boards, Adirondack chairs, and some very good pups. The food is Texas-style BBQ with options like brisket, beef ribs, and some great sides!
Von Elrod's - Downtown
Brunch? Happy Hour? Great Beer? Amazing, smoked meats? Von Elrod's checks all of the boxes and boasts one of the biggest outdoor spaces in Nashville! So grab a couple friends, grab your pup, and head down to Von Elrod's for an awesome time.
Red Bicycle Coffee - Multiple Locations
You know a spot is dog-friendly when they have a dedicated Instagram account for the pups that come to their coffee shop! With locations all throughout Nashville and the surrounding areas, Red Bicycle is known as one of (if not the most) dog-friendly restaurants in town. Be sure to grab a pup cup and have your pooch smile the next time you swing by!
Redheaded Stranger - East Nashville
Two restaurants in a row with dedicated Instagram accounts for their four-legged patrons? Is that even allowed? It is in Nashville! Redheaded Stranger is serving up some of the best tacos and southwestern grub in town. While you can't go wrong with a taco, may we suggest the Green Chile Cheeseburger? Yes, please!
Jackalope – Wedgewood-Houston Neighborhood
Jackalope Brewing Company’s second location, The Ranch, has a dog-friendly patio in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston Neighborhood. And along with the selection of beer they brew themselves, they also have games like Shuffleboard for you to enjoy with your friends of the human variety. They don’t have a full menu, but they have some small bites available like pretzels, charcuterie, and a cheese and bread plate if you get a little peckish. Yum!
Two Ten Jack – East Nashville
If you’re looking for something slightly different from just breweries, burgers, and bars, Two Ten Jack is a fantastic choice. This dog-friendly restaurant in Nashville is modeled after a Japanese dining experience called izakaya. They offer Japanese fares like sushi rolls and ramen bowls and offer cocktails both on tap and handcrafted.
12 South Taproom and Grill – 12 South Neighborhood
The proprietors wanted to create a “third place” in the 12 South Neighborhood. The Third Place is a concept that people often associate with pub culture in England. It’s not home, and it’s not work, so it’s a third place! That’s the atmosphere you’ll find at the 12 South Taproom and Grill. Their outdoor patio is dog-friendly, and while you’re hanging out with your furry friend, you can enjoy drinks and delicious food from their grill (they also serve Brunch!).
Baja Burrito – Berry Hill
Baja Burrito offers a vibrant atmosphere where both you and your furry friend can enjoy the flavors of Mexico. Nestled in the heart of Nashville, this spot is known for its fresh ingredients and customizable burritos, tacos, and bowls. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly, allowing you to savor their famous fish tacos under the Tennessee sky. Their pineapple salsa is a must-try and has garnered a loyal following among locals. Hattie B’s Hot Chicken – Midtown
Of course, it wouldn’t be a list of Nashville restaurants without including the world-famous Hattie B’s Hot Chicken. This is classic Nashville in a place, so don’t miss out! Their Midtown location has dog-friendly tables outside, which might be why the lines are often out the door at Hattie B’s. Given their popularity, you might want to call your order in ahead of time or to-go, then grab a table outside with your furbaby.
