It also has some canine agility equipment for the dog who needs a little more mental and physical stimulation. This park has lights for nighttime romps in the yard and several benches for the pet parents to sit while their canines run around. If you live on the south side, this park is perfect for you.

Wagging Tail Dog Park — 5841 Keller Springs Road, Dallas, TX 75248

Wagging Tail Dog Park’s most unique feature is its observation deck that overlooks the White Rock Creek from 35 feet in the air. As you and your dog walk around this park, you will realize this is more than a fenced-in patch of grass. In fact, this was the first dog park the city of Dallas ever designed.

The intentionality of this park is clear. There are plenty of benches and pet waste stations for the pet parents. There are two separate sections for large and small dogs. There are canine and human water fountains. You’ll even find a trail where you and your pup can get some extra exercise. When the big Texas summer sun is in the sky, you’ll find plenty of refuge under the large shade trees. Overall, this is an excellent spot for the two of you.
